Well for Ghana

We went to the school in Tamale, among other things, in order to educate kids about health and hygiene. However, when we arrived, it turned out that the school lacked one of the basic human rights- access to running water. Given such conditions organizing hygiene workshops seems impossible. We learnt how bad the situation was when we saw kids drinking water from a greenish pond nearby.

That muddy pond full of dangerous bacterias- which you can see on the photo below- was the only source of water for our kids. It was a heart-breaking experience to see kids filling their bottles with that water and later drinking it. Therefore, we decided to ensure our kids are going to have access to clean and safe water. 

Right now we are happy to announce that the well is done and our kids are provided with clean and fresh water every day. 

The well provides access to safe water not only to our kids but also to the inhabitants of three neighbouring villages- where families, relatives, and friends of our kids live.
